"Hi, I'm Kelsey! I’m a huge animal lover, thanks to both my parents. I grew up in a house filled with dogs and cats who were homeless, abandoned, and in need of some major TLC. Outside of animals, I've always loved meeting new people and learning their life stories. I graduated from CCSU with a B.A. in Graphic Design and Business Administration. In early 2022, I began volunteering, fostering, and managing all social media accounts for a local nonprofit cat rescue, Kitten Angels. While I was incredibly fulfilled by this work, I felt a strong desire to support more rescues and make a bigger impact. That’s when I decided to take my passion further and start my own company. In Fall of 2023, I founded Traveling Whiskers, combining everything I love—creating fun, social events that bring people together while supporting multiple nonprofit animal rescues. Traveling Whiskers was designed to offer unique experiences that not only connect people but also raise awareness and funds for the local rescue community."
Ellie
Chief Marketing Officer
Hi, I’m Ellie, a 7-year-old purebred German Shepherd! I’ve proudly graduated from three levels of obedience training, so you could say I’m a pretty great listener. I absolutely love going for walks or runs off-leash, and I never wander beyond my yard—even when a squirrel zips by! While I might bark a little when new people come around, don’t worry—I warm up quickly. After a few sniffs, I’ll shower you with endless kisses. I’m also a fetch pro and could play for hours without breaking a sweat. My best friend is my cat brother, Oliver. We have the best time running around the house, sharing toys, and even napping together sometimes."

Professional Napper
"This better be good, you woke me up! Hi, I’m Oliver, a 5-year-old real-life Garfield. I was rescued from an abandoned barn in Oneonta, NY, and brought into the shelter when I was just a kitten. I thought I’d found my forever home with a single mom and her little girl, but my playful nipping got me returned before I could even meow. But then came Kelsey. The second she walked into the shelter, I ran straight to her, and the rest is history. She says I should be a professional actor, but really, I’m just a huge daddy’s boy now. My favorite things? Eating, sleeping, and cuddling with my humans. When I’m not doing one of those, you can find me soaking up the sun in a window or having the zoomies with my sister, Ellie. What can I say? I live a pretty good life!"
